JCPenney Salon

I used to like this salon. I mainly had a hair cut & style, but sometimes also had pedicure, manicure and other add-ons when they had the staff. Although the stylists were personable, quite frankly they also were lazy. When no one was at the desk, the stylists would let the phone ring and allow customers to wait without being greeted. It's not like this place was ever busy either - they just wouldn't bother. \r \r I've been through 2 stylists at this location since they first opened. Both did a nice job with my hair. However, after being with each for over a year, they started showing late for appointments, not showing at all, or cancelling at the last minute. Although this place never seemed busy, my stylists were rarely on time and I frequently waited 15-20 minutes to get to the chair. The last time the stylist wasn't there for my appointment, I waited 10 minutes and then walked out and never came back. That was about two years ago. \r \r Management never made it up to me, although one time a comp'ed haircut was promised. I got charged anyway. No surprise, really. \r \r I wanted to try Scotty to do my hair because I never saw this behavior in him. However, I just didn't want to run into the other bimbos that work here. So, I'm getting a better cut and better service elsewhere for less, even though JCP is like 2 minutes from my house. This JCP is nice, new, and clean, and the salon could be awesome with a little effort. \r \r Pity. more

I do not usually waste my time blasting businesses online. I have actually never taken the time to set up an account until today. I am fed up with my hair. The only thing that seems to help it is the CHI blowout. I have waited a month due to kids' free hair cuts to get an appointment. Now I think they just don't like how time consuming it is and purposely cancelled my appointment for this evening without notifying me. I wish other salons would offer the service because they are not worthy of my patronage. I would love for everyone to cancel on them after they drive out of their way looking forward to getting their hair done. I plan on spending the next three hours that I should be sitting in a salon chair posting my distaste for their salon online and notifying the CHI company that they should look to offer their product at other salons. more

I went in looking for the perfect haircut. I just needed the hair off my face, keeping the length, but the top not so flat and straight in the middle. I also wanted a hair coloring. Pros: Expertise,happy faces,lots of laughs, clean Cons: Price, but worth it! more
