I requested an cost estimate to replace my garage door opener - while the old unit still opened the door there was evidence of 'heat damage' around the light socket and it only worked intermittently. The quoted cost was in-line with what I expected. Arrangements were made for the installer to come out the next day. Bill arrived at the agreed time and was very efficient in changing out the system. The system was checked from the indoor switch and the new outdoor remote. Later in the day (after the installer left) I re-programmed the Homelink in one of our cars and have difficulty getting in to connect. I called A&B Doors and they had the installer back out early the next morning to connect my car to the system. I am very pleased with the new Genie system. I am amazed at how quiet and smooth the new door opener system is. I also like the feature of being able to lock out the control (added security feature when at home) and the feature to turn on the light without opening the door.
