Review content:
I went here for a MRI of the head but unfortunately the antiquated equipment and procedure was a horrible experience. Before the examination table is moved into the cylinder, you should be given a ball to hold, which you can press to trigger the alarm in case of an emergency. On the day I went it was out being serviced I found out after scan which is why I wasn't given it. During your MRI examination, the MR system operator should be able to speak to you, hear you, and observe you at all times. Again on the day I had my exam this was not working properly either as I tried to contact the operator by shouting to him numerous times and wiggling my feet to get his attention. It was not until I actually crawled out of the scanner after the exam was over that the attendant came into the room to find out what was wrong. I was scheduled for two tests that day but after my experience with the first scan there was no way I was going back in there in this office. Check out your options before booking your appointment here.
Pros: friendly staff
Cons: equipment not working properly and antiquated
