BEWARE!! After being a client at AHOP for a little over 3 years, I have finally decided to take my business elsewhere. My boarding experiences were horrendous and my dog smelled terrible every time we brought him home. AHOP brought in new boarding management and offered me a night of free boarding. No Thanks! Glad I didn't take that offer, because I continue seeing reviews about bad boarding experiences. We also experienced the unnecessary treatment/shots like other reviewers. When questioned, I was told ""you don't have to do every treatment option we recommend."" If it were optional, they should have said so at the time of the recommendation!! My final straw was unreturned phone calls and seeing several dogs on their roof all in the same week (July 4th). The response to the dogs on the roof was nonchalant and brushed off. Apparently, the person who lives in the apartment upstairs left the window open and the dogs got out and were wondering around on the roof. I saw it first hand and even got pictures. It was taken lightly with no real concern. Needless to say, my dog has her annual vaccination exam with her new veterinarian tomorrow morning!!
