I was searching blindly for a wedding planner online and stumbled upon Kate's website. I found the website struck the perfect balance between refreshingly whimsical and professional. It spoke to my wedding priorities...hiring someone who was creative and organized. Kate Bentley events delivered on all our expectations, taking our epic vision and making it a reality. During the planning, she was very organized, and provided excellent insight on things I hadn't considered such as food for the bridal suite and special considerations for parents of the bridal party. She captured the look and feel I wanted, and worked well with all the vendors that I brought to the table. She surprised me on the day of the wedding by providing parasols for the guests and also did some special uplighting as a complimentary gift to me. Even though she was 8 months pregnant, she worked diligently throughout the weekend and all my guests commented on her hard work and professionalism. During the wedding, unbeknownst to me, our hotel room flooded, so on top of everything, she worked with the staff to have us upgraded to an even better room and have all our belongings moved without ever giving us a moment of worry. Throughout the wedding and reception, she had an uncanny ability to always be one step ahead of the game, while always ready to hand me a glass of champagne when mine was getting low. As a bride, I wanted this day to be one where my bridal party could revel in the day with me, not be working for me. Hiring her was the best decision I could make, because she truly took on every burden and allowed us to have an epic wedding.
