Review content:
The reception at this clinic is completely AWFUL. The day that I called to make my appointment, all I wanted was a simple TB test. The receptionist on the other end who was angry and short with me over the phone informed me that I would need too see the doctor in order to get the test. I knew this was unnecessary because my test was a simple yes/no that was required for school, and the previous year I had gotten a TB test administered me to by a nurse, and was literally a walk-in walk-out appointment, less than 3 minutes total. \r \r When I walked in for my appointment at Main Center Family Medicine I was not acknowledged by either of the two receptionists working. I proceeded to sign in and take a seat in the waiting room, not even knowing if they had seen I was there. After about 5-10 minutes waiting, I walked up to the desk to check if they had even seen that I had arrived. The receptionist I spoke with acted as though speaking to me was a chore, and seemed like she was in somewhat of a daze. I then waited for an hour and fifteen minutes in the waiting room to be called, watching several patients that arrived long after me get called to their appointments before I was. I assumed that this was because they did not need to see the doctor, and the rude receptionist had misinformed me that I NEED to see the doctor, not a nurse, get the TB test. \r \r On the contrary, Dr. Billies is an excellent doctor. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, pleasant, and easy to talk to, and also takes into account a holistic approach which I really like. She is kind, and I felt as though she really cared about me as a patient. The nurse, I wish I knew her name, is also very sweet. \r \r But overall, i will not be returning to this clinic. I will take my business elsewhere, though I'm sure this office doesn't even need new patients if they are so packed that patients like myself have a 1 hour and 15 minute wait, even for a 30 second TB test.
