I was interested in an old quilt which a worker confided was over-priced for its condition. She told me they can't lower prices only the manager can and of course she wasn't in. Another day I bought some drinking glasses - the women checking me out kept shaking their heads and saying they thought the glasses were underpriced. Later that day I went back to buy a few more and found the price on the glasses had been raised! On another occasion they had a set of silverware for well over a year - I made them a fair offer but they rejected it.
