Review content:
*This review is actually not pertaining to Dr Sanderson. No other names of Vets listed so I had to post under this heading*\r \r What a difference in service & cost since my good previous vists of 7 years ago! Took my pet in the other day to be diagnosed since he was ill. Charged $350 for 1 hour of services (some of which not were authorized), Also, all 5 employees (inc Dr Schoolmeester) which were in contact with my pet lacked in proper ""septic technique' . Not 1 person used the sink in the room to wash with & soap water before touching the pet. One tech even put a BARE UNWASHED finger over an injection site WITH BLOOD PRESENT! How much do disposal gloves, soap & water cost? Certainly they can afford it (not to mention being careful about spreading disease between patients). After questioning this, the explanation was ""we wash our hands before coming into the room"" BS! The door knob & otther items in the room are touched frequently & harbour bacteria. No excuse, poor education! \r \r My pet's condition rapidly degraded later that day & was in crying in pain that evening around 6pm. I tried in vane to reach someone & left a message for DR Schoolmeester to call me 1st thing in the morning. \r \r We ended up taking our pet to a Emergency Clinic (excellent caring service there) later that evening to be euthanized. What a terrible 24 hours. Never heard from Stonecrest. So 1 1/2 days later, I called to ask why they did not return my call & was told ""because we were aware you had taken you pet to the emergency clinic & knew the outcome"". So what!? Would have been nice to at least hear from the vet!\r \r I will never take my other pets there since it seems money is the prime goal of this place & it lacks proper sanitation methods in my opinion..\r \r March 11, 2011\r
