Abbott Electric Inc. was contracted by a plumber who was supposed to be doing work in our home. Apparently, none of them got permits, so I got all kinds of crazy problems with the city.
Then the plumber didn't pay the guy from Abbott Electric. He was supposed to be paid out of what I was paying the plumber. So, long story short, he put a claim on my house because he didn't get paid for the job.
Make sure they have the correct permits. Also make sure you have your city come in and see that the wiring is done properly. He wired our bathroom, but he didn't do the correct wiring for a bathroom.
