My husband and I ate dinner here while visiting for a weekend, and decided to try both the Gristmill and Gruene River Grill while there to settle the Citysearch debate for ourselves. While the Gristmill had a great view and good service, the food was not spectacular. We thought the Gruene River Grill had better food, equally good service, and good ambience (although not overlooking the river). We sat at a table near enough to the fireplace to be warm, but not too hot. The food is slightly more upscale than the Gristmill, and better prepared.
Pros: Food, location, service
Cons: No honey mustard. :)
