I had another plumber out to fix a main shut-off valve on the street side of our meter which was leaking through the stem. Minneapolis couldn't get the water shut off, so the plumber referred me to Gene to get a quote for replacing the city's stop-box as he couldn't do the work himself. \r

Gene was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and direct. He gave me a good idea of a price, but as soon as I explained what was wrong with the valve, he stopped me in my tracks and told me exactly how to fix it myself with a few inexpensive items from the hardware store. He also gave me some ingenious tips for preventing potential problems down the road.\r

Gene's advice saved me a bunch of money, time and frustration. His simple fix worked like a charm. We didn't need to have Gene or his sons from Piperight come out that day, but there's no doubt that I'll be calling them the next time I need a plumber.
