Review content:
Saturday October 30th, 2010 we purchased a certified, pre-owned 450h Lexus from McGrath of Westmont. This deal would not have been possible without the help, patience and expertise of our sales agent, Mr. Mel Owens. We had previously purchased a 1997 ES 300 from this dealership in 2000. That car remains in excellent shape and my wife was reluctant to take on a new car note. But, we had been searching on the internet for well over a year for an SUV that would be heartier for these Chicago winters. Mr. Mel Owens was first class. He wasn't solely interested in consummating this deal, but desired to make us ""customers for life"". He was not pushy or aggressive. He answered questions honestly and returned our ""panicky"" voice mails promptly. Though he was obviously busy, he made us feel as if we were the only deal that mattered. My wife is frugal and a ""tough sell""; I am convinced we would still be car shopping if destiny had not guided us to Mr. Owens. His demeanor and ethical conduct is a reflection of the McGrath dealership and Lexus ""family"". Though our Lexus was 14 years old, we were still able to take advantage of every amenity the McGrath dealerships had to offer (i.e., free loaners, car washes, massages, shoe shines, plasma tv's, conference rooms, Wi Fi, Starbucks coffee, etc.) For now, my wife has forbidden me from driving her ""new"" car. She's like a time traveler who is thoroughly enjoying 14 years of innovative, automobile technology. I'm pleased that we got a stylish hybrid that sips gas, has some ""giddyup"" when accelerating and looks great!
