Review content:
If this establishment was good before, it's not anymore. My sister used to get all her son's suits altered here and they did a great job (even though the staff is rude). But recently they have not been consistent. I have a hard time finding dress pants that fit my 7 year old son. I finally found 2 pair but they needed hemmed (just hemmed with a cuff). I picked them up and brought them home - they were AT LEAST an inch too short. How do you screw that up??? I took them back and the woman was very rude. She didn't apologize AT ALL. I told her that I could take the cuff out myself to make them fit but I wanted my money back because I didn't get what I paid for. She spoke to Willard and he said he could fix them and still keep a cuff (I'm really not sure how but we will see). They won't be ready for 3 days. Really?? You advertise same day service but you can't fix your mistake in a day? That is not customer service. And if they aren't right on Friday, you better believe they are going to refund my $ and pay for the pants. I'm not a tailor or even sew well, but I could have pinned and hemmed those pants better (and I will next time)\r
\r
That's not all. About the same time, my sister had 2 dresses taken in in the waist and bust. I had given them to her and I am much bigger in the bust than she is. She got them back and the waist was fine but they hadn't taken in the bust at all. She wasn't able to wear them to the function as planned. She hasn't yet returned to get them fixed. I mentioned the issue to the woman and she got an attitude with me. I told her that if the dresses were pinned correctly, I don't know how they were so off on the alterations. She told the ""They WERE pinned correctly"". Oh really - Like my son's pants were pinned correctly?? She said that they tell everyone to try on the clothes before they leave (they don't!) and she could have been wearing a different bra on the day they pinned the dress. What? I'd like to know what bra increases your bust size 2 whole sizes! I would be a millionaire! \r
\r
So if you take your clothes to Willard's you may or may not be getting what you paid for. And if they screw up, they will not apologize, but instead treat you like dirt. \r
