Review content:
Been a customer for a long time (20+ years) and have always had great eye exams, 5 Stars for that. The things that have stopped me from going back are their selection and quality of frames, poor customer service of front desk people, difficulty in getting a copy of my prescription and not standing behind their products. I have had most of these issues through my time with Gemini but continued to go there because of the excellent exam. The last straw happened when my glasses broke about a month after taking them in to be checked because they felt wobbly when I was cleaning them. I was told they were OK. Took by broken glasses to the store and was informed that I could get replacement frames but would have to pay %50 of the cost because they were over 6 months old and would have to wait at least a week to get them. I was able to get my prescription, after asking twice, and went to Lens Crafters. It wasn’t until I got my new glasses from Lens Crafters, took about an hour, that I noticed I was able to see much better. The lenses from Gemini were off just enough that I had trouble seeing at a distance but not enough to think it was the lenses. I will find somewhere new to get my exam and will probably get my glasses from Zenni Optical, much cheaper and better quality frames. Lens Crafters was great when I needed them the same day but still too expensive.
