At 2 years old my cavalier/shitzu dog Tiki developed colitis for 6 months and I asked an old friend who his vet was. He himself was the top thoracic surgeon at JFK Hospital for years so I figured he'd know a good doctor! He answered that Susan Baker was the only doctor to even consider! She had Tiki well in 2 weeks, Put her on prescription food and she has been healthy ever since.Dr. Baker is kind and compassionate as well as having the reputation of being the best small animal surgeon in Florida. At 10 years old Tiki is headed for surgery this week to remove a growth in her bladder. As difficult as this is to face, I am so happy Dr. Baker will be performing the task!
