Our situation was similar to those posted below. We agreed to the free in home estimate with no obligation to buy at this time. We were told that our quote would be good for a year. The salesman was very friendly at first, went through his presentation, measured our bathtub, showed us samples, and had pretty much convniced us that we would like a new tub from them. Then he started talking about the cost, which was reasonable, but we are having financial hardships right now and hadn't planned on doing our tub until the summer. He kept asking what he could do to get us to agree to commit to a new tub, and would stare at us silently and blankly just wanting us to say yes. We told him we cannot possibly afford a payment right now, but that we liked the product and his presentation. Then, he started packing up his stuff not saying a word for about 3 minutes (laptop, paperwork, samples) and the only thing he said was "can you get the door".
