I have had several experiences with Pep Boys on Gause, mainly because of its convienance and hours. Not once have I been satisfied with the work they have performed on my two cars. I have received several oil changes, not once have they completed the oil change in the time that they promised. Not to mention they never remember to put a new sticker on my windshield, or reset the maintenance light, which I always ask of them when I drop my car off. They always crank the air conditioning and blair their favorite radio station on my radio when doing my oil changes- I know this because I am greeted with this loud music and cranked AC when I turn my car on for the first time. The workers are very unprofessional, complain about other customers in front of new customers, and have been found eating pizza in the back while there is a line of customers at the front desk. The last time we took a car there for a serious problem - they said they fixed it and charged us over 500 dollars. We had to take it somewhere else the next week because it turned out that they had not fixed the problem at all. We ended up getting our money back without an apology, but still had to deal with the inconvienance of it all. My husband and I refuse to go back to Pep Boys - no matter how close it is, it always results in a huge headache for us both. These are just a few of my experiences with this company - there are plenty more I could go on about...I recommend taking your car to Firestone - they are very professional!
