Review content:
I learned my lesson the hard way with this bond company. I would NOT advise anyone to use their service. Cowboy Bail Bond will lie to you on the phone about charges & when you get to location, you will get to pay 30% plus other bogus fees. On a $1,000 bond, instead of standard 10%($100), I got to pay $305 & told to take my son to Dallas county jail when his warrant was out of Collin County. When I did not turn him in to Dallas County & instead turned him in to Collin County, I was advised I had to pay an additional $190 fee before they would get him out of jail. I was told they would not try until they had their $. It was also going to take several hours. I talked with my son's attorney & was advised I paid too much $ & he knew nothing of a transfer fee. I tried to get my $ back from Cowboy's but they were refusing payment. I ended going to Doc's Bail Bonds in McKinney. They charged me the standard 10% & I had the papers in hand & delivered to Collin County jail within about 30 minutes. It took me over 1 year to get most of my $ back. I will never collect $50 but I did get the rest. However, I had to file a complaint with the Dallas County Bond department at the Dallas County Sheriff's office. Those officers are awesome. DO NOT USE COWBOY BAIL BONDS unless you have $ to throw away. Thank you Doc's & thank you Dallas County Sheriff Dept.\r
