While the staff was caring towards my pet, their primary concern was getting paid in full! I have been a long time patient at PHAA and was basically refused service for my dog that was on his death bed. The charges are above and beyond reasonable or even comparable to any other place. I was told that I had to pay for services before he could be cared for or to go some place else, which I did. I paid not even half of the amount at Noahs Ark and the price included an overnight stay. I can't begin to explain how upsetting it was to have to take a dieing pet and drive to another hospital. I was not a new patient and have spent ALOT of money on other surgeries for another pet. Most people are not prepared for a sudden pet emergency costing so much. I will never return and will tell every animal lover that I know, unless you have abundant cash just waiting to be spent, drive a little further and save your money. Not to mention, my last experience where I was charged an INSANE amount of mone
