Review content:
A/C stopped working late on Tuesday evening. Found Hixon online after being disappointed with the last company that serviced my A/C. All the reviews that I read convinced me that this was the company to call. Called Wednesday morning to request a late afternoon appointment to allow me to go into work and was advised it would not be a problem. Phillip, the tech, quickly diagnosed the problem and after installing a new capacitor and adding a hard start unit the problem was solved.
He also went into the attic to check the filter and tidied up some existing wiring on the compressor. Parts and labor - $138.00, cool air - priceless!! Phillip had 4 more appointments scheduled after mine and, after starting his work day at 6:00, had hours to go. Thank God for HVAC techs and companies like Hixon!!
