I had my daughter at the Lake Powell La Petite and it was a terrible experience. The teachers were great. However the management was ridiculous. The director, Peggy Hammons, has no clue as to what is going on. She sits at the computer in the front all day and it is hard to tell what else she does. She doesn't know when the classes are out of ratio nor does she seem to care when they are over, She came in and told one of my daughter's teachers to go home right in front of me. Her reason--there were not as many kids at the school that day and so someone had to leave. Meanwhile, my daughter was transitioning and needed to have that teacher (who was being sent home) to care for her. The teacher was unpaid and visibly upset to leave while my daughter was screaming for her (although she was professional and never said anything to me about it). The assistant director, is a hyper active loud woman who busts into the rooms, barks orders at the teachers, and doesn't care who is in the room or wh
