Review content:
A few weeks ago we had problems with our HVAC intermittently working.
Another company's serviceman had come in and stated that the HVAC was fine and that the problem was with an inadequate freon level which was added by ARS. This diagnosis was found to be very wrong.
ARS sent a representative (Marvin) for a callback to add more freon. Marvin made no assumptions and provided a complete check of the system before adding freon. After inspecting the HVAC Marvin had shown me that some wires were burnt out in the motor assembly. This was very obvious making it clear that the other company's serviceman did not provide a real inspection.
Marvin was professional and went beyond the call of duty seeing that several components needed to be replaced. Due to the age of the system it had taken Marvin several hours to ensure reliability of the unit. This was at the end of the day and I am sure he would have wanted to simply fill the freon and leave...but he did not. Not surprisingly, the freon level was at an appropriate level before Marvin began work and he provided an excellent job in fixing the real problem.
