My transmission started acting up and not knowing anything about transmissions or what to do when one goes bad, I asked around. Waterloo Transmissions was highly recommend and after I called them I knew why.
When I called and explained what was going on, they were very kind and patient with my lack of car know how. They offered to go pick my car up and take a look at it.
It turned out that I did need a new transmission. With my car being as old as it was, with as many miles as it had, it was a tough decision for me as to repair or replace the car. They were very patient with me and laid out all my options with no pressure to get the transmission. They quoted me a great price on a factory re manufactured transmission and a great turn around time.
Ultimately I chose to replace the vehicle based on mileage and existing wear on the vehicle, but even then they allowed me to leave my car onsite for several days to arrange for it to be picked up.
I cannot say enough about the people at Waterloo Transmission and I would highly recommend them. This is where I will be going for any future transmission needs.
