I"ve only been once with my husband on our date night. Great strong drinks. Really appreciated that! I had dirty martini's and my husband Southern comfort and coke. Service wasn't the best and this was during the week when it wasn't that crowded. I went there on recommendation from another couple for their steaks. I wasnt that impressed. I ordered a prime rib and my husband a rib eye. I just wasnt that impressed. To be honest...I went to Outback Steakhouse around Valentines day and had an amazing ribeye blackened. I know that sounds tacky but in all honesty when i think of a great steak The Backwoods In..is not the place i think of. I did like the comfortable environment. No dressing up necessary! I also loved their salad and blue cheese dressing. We also ordered the sauteed mushrooms which came in some weird coffee cup kind of thing. it was weird.
