The 14 Karats is awesome! In addition to the laid back (dog friendly) atmosphere in the store, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Jon (the owner) has been a staple on College Avenue for over 30 years. He know most customers by first name and has created beautiful custom jewelry for generations. The selection in the store is unique and quality and if you don't find what you are looking for they will make it for you! They make everything right there in the store - No generic, mass produced, over priced stock you find in most jewelry stores. My husband & I got our custom wedding rings there and we love them! We pop in whenever we are in town just to say hi and get our rings cleaned. If you are in the market for something extra special check them out!
