my dog (at the time was 4 mons old) was spayed (in feb 2007) by chatham vet clinic... a week later she became very ill.. coughing & coughing and with that came vomiting, she couldn't hold anything down at all not even water... so I tried to get her in to she our vet the next morning at the chatham vet clinic, they said that they were too busy & had no open appointments so I asked if I could at least have my vet call me they said yes & took my name & number & this was around 10:30 am... so I waited (I never heard of such a thing most places will try to work you in for an emergency at least that's what I thought) by 12 pm I hadn't heard a thing so I called them back... still the same thing we are busy & we have no appointments open & the vet may not get to your call back of course we will remind him that you want him to call you, but however if you wish to do so you are welcome to go somewhere else.... & I said that is ridiculous you people just did surgery on her I figured that he would
