Review content:
My experience here was extremely upsetting. I was seen for chronic yeast infections, and at my first visit the doctor almost made me cry. He was insensitive to my discomfort, and extremely argumentative when I voiced my desire to not take birth control pills (which is an issue completely unrelated to my infections). However I had heard he was an excellent doctor so I went back for a second visit. He did not seem to remember me at all. He repeated almost word-for-word much of what he had said to me the first time, and again argued with me about birth control. When he was examining me he put silver nitrate on my infection with no warning or explanation--I later learned that silver nitrate is what they use to burn off warts. I spent the rest of the day on prescription painkillers because the pain was so excruciating. Due to this experience I feel determined to never see a male gynecologist again.
