My dog Pepper is 4 1/2 years old and we just moved up to the area from the twin cities. She has dealt with bouts of illness that her vet in the cities had ignored or just blamed on gas. The first time I went to Grand Ave. the vet knew there was something more seriously wrong and asked if I would like to have Pepper's blood tested. I am a student and was strapped for cash so I took the antibiotic option. When Pepper was severely ill two weeks later they insisted on a blood test which yielded a lifesaving diagnoses! Since then they have worked with me and local pharmacies to find the cheapest medication for Pepper's condition. I owe them big for saving my best friend's life!
