I went in for my annual exam on January 5, 2012. I knew that I was being charged the wrong fee by the front desk. I tried to reason with the staff. I have insurance. I explained that there was a mistake. I was told unless I paid in full I would not be seen by a doctor. I then asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told there was no supervisor and unless I paid in full I would not be seen by a medical doctor. I said, charge me for 75% and if there is more bill me later. The staff refused and said unless I paid in full I would not be seen by a doctor. I paid in full. I called the next day and spoke with billing. It was confirmed that I was wrongly charged. and it has taken until today, Feb. 17 to get the money refunded to me. I have also waited about and hour on hold. I am going somewhere next year.
