Review content:
Their advertisement says: ""Youâ??re always welcome at Bettendorf Veterinary Hospital; we hope that you will join us sometime"". Actually false advertising. They refused to provide a routine dental cleaning for our perfectly healthy cat because he is a senior and tests positive for FIV. This cat is a wonderful boy we rescued who is sweet and even charms people who don't like cats. He has been a loving member of our family for 6 years and we expect to have him around many more. He even has his own webpage and many local fans who are charmed by his rescue story of a feral who adopted us. FIV positive cats do not always develop the disease and can live long healthy lives. They also do not easily spread their disease. Our beautiful gentle giant is a wonderful example of this and likely he will be with us for years to come. He has never spread his disease to our other pets. Many of our cats have lived to 20+ under our care including one now who is 18 and has been with us most of her life. No thanks to vets like Dr. O'Banion.
Pros: none that I actually know of
Cons: see review
