Review content:
It started out as one of my first dates with my now Wife, and we've been going there ever since. It's been nearly three years that we've been dining at Sushi Yusho and I must say, it just gets better and better. The staff and owners are so genuine that I can honestly say that we've become friends, even the kitchen staff welcomes us everytime we come in! Not only that, but they've even celebrated the birth of my first Baby Girl, and have placed her birth announcement on their bar and have left it there for the past four months! And no, it's not one of their's!\r

I've been eating sushi since I was eight years old (now 32), have lived in about ten cities across five states, and no other sushi restaurant can even hold a candle to the quality that Sushi Yusho puts out on a daily basis. Aji, Spanish Mackeral, is my favorite fish which anywhere else says is seasonal, I call Shenanagins! If this were to be true...why does Sushi Yusho always have it! I'll tell you why...it's because of Steve Kuge's, Yusho's owner, constant attention and desire to provide nothing but the best for his patrons.\r

Sushi Yusho's chefs, comprised of Steve Kuge, his brother Kenny, and Rick, are some of the most innovative ""Sushi Artists"" I've ever encountered. Forget the ordinary rolls that all sushi restaurants have, have faith in the chef's abilities and tell them what fish or vegatables you like, they'll go ahead and make a custom roll for you! Next time you go ask for the ""Shut up and Eat It Roll"", to die for!\r

All in all, Sushi Yusho is ""The Premier"" sushi restaurant in all of Ventura County. I'd even put my neck on the line and say ""The Premier"" sushi restaurant in all of California! If you're looking to dine in a quaint family atmoshphere, with some of the best people around, patrons included, and ""The Best Sushi"", don't stop or pass go, Run to Sushi Yusho!
Pros: Quality, knowledgeable and personable staff, and extremely affordable
Cons: None!
