Dr. Cain is very personable and seems knowledgeable, but I don't know that reading an MRI and saying ""you need surgery,"" makes for a great doctor. He seems to be highly repected in his field for diagnosis, but he said I had an issue with my C8 vertebrae. C8 vertebrae? I'm no doctor and I new better, but he later corrected himself after going over a spine diagram with me. \r \r The WORST is his office. I was bed ridden for two weeks due to a severly hemorrhaged disk that is pinching a nerve. I called his office to set an appointment seven different times over the course of two weeks without a single response from his staff. I finally received a response over two weeks later and set an appointment. But, I had to wait another week before I could come in. So, it took over three weeks just to get my first appointment.\r \r During my first visit he asked me to run downstairs, get an MRI done, and bring it back up to him. So I told his staff what his orders were and they laughed as they set my MRI appointment for the following week. Yep, another week. Well, I showed up for my MRI appointment at 1:00 pm just as Dr. Cain's staff stated on the appointment card, but the MRI office said my appointment was not until 2:45 pm. So, I had to wait almost two hours because of his staffs' error (and they set the appointment). After getting the MRI, I saw Dr. Cain again and he stated that I indeed needed surgery for which he recommended some doctors. \r \r Well, I called the neurosurgeon's office to set an appointment and they needed my MRI and file from Dr. Cain's office. Its been a week and they have not gotten a response from Dr. Cain's office yet. I also have called and left four messages the past week with Dr. Cain's office in an effort to expedite the file transfer so that I may get better, but guess what. No response. I left a message with the nurse, the office manager, and two with the records department. To be continued. Pros: Dr. Cain is personable Cons: Office staff, time to get appointment, lack of communication, no returned calls, doesn't validate parking, I could go on and on
