I'd heard good things about the restaurant, and made reservations to dine there with friends. When we arrived and told the maitre d' we were meeting friends, he replied somewhat sarcastically, ""It's good to know you have friends."" Not funny. The appetizers were tasty, salad very disappointing (mixed greens with dressing - no croutons, tomatoes, garnish, nothing. Boring). The entrees were delicious, veal piccata, cioppino, salmon - flavorful, expertly prepared. After pouring the first glass of wine, the waiter never came back to refill, so we poured our own wine during the meal. He served my husband an old cup of coffee, and when asked for a fresh cup, replied, ""I'll just take it off the bill."" No new cup of coffee. Each of us ordered a dessert, the shot glass versions with different dessert fillings. The waiter set the plate with 4 desserts in front of our guest and said to her, ""You can hand these out."" We were shocked at his unprofessionalism and rudeness. What a shame that this restaurant with great food, albeit high prices, can't provide service any better than what we received. We won't be back.
