Review content:
It is true as other reviewers stated that the person you see for your pregnancy may not be who delivers you. This is fairly obvious in a multi-doctor practice. My first child was delivered by my doctor, my second was delivered by one of the 3 doctors who alternate rounds.
With my second child it turned out I loved the doctor who delivered me, even more then my ""assigned"" doctor who delivered my first child and I was very happy with.
Dr. Gumer and Dr. Grahm are wonderful.
They are a conservative practice and do not like women to go over 41 weeks but will let you go to 42 if you request and induction was never mentioned with my child until I was 40 weeks. They also didn't do a lot of internals at the end (I think 39 weeks was the first) which I really liked as well.
After giving birth to two children through their practice, with the two doctors listed above i could not be happier with the practice. There are pro's and con's to a multi-doctor practice and I was very happy with my doctors at Northside Women's Specialist.
Pros: fantastic doctors
Cons: multi-doctor practice
