Review content:
Called Todd w/ AMS Appliance because I needed cooktop and microwave service. I heard back from him quickly and was able to schedule an appointment within a quite reasonable amount of time. He arrived on time, yeah! Explained to me that the cooktop did not need repair. Seemed that an electronic ignition had probably just gotten too wet and needed to dry out. Yes, he explained this to me and told me that the cooktop was working just fine. Thank you! I needed a part ordered for the microwave. Todd arrived a few days later (as schedule and on time) and replaced the part. He was pleasant, professional, clean and not running hours-to-days late with fifteen excuses! Only problem, I did not check on ""parts cost."" The replacement turntable for my microwave actually costs, I believe, about $43.00 - $50.00. I was charged $216.00 for the replacement turntable drive motor. I did not realize this until after service was completed. My fault, I agreed to the price up front. Lesson learned, do a little ""parts cost"" research and ask up front!
