Review content:
III Forks, another restaurant from Dallas that they think will work in Austin. So let's get started...the front door was filthy which made me question the rest of the establishment. We were seated in a reasonable amount of time after two decent cocktails at the bar. Here's where my disappointment continued. Point 1: $8 Onion Rings? I love good food and I will pay for it but these onion rings were not even freshly made. Point 2: $40 for a steak = go to Sullivan's or Flemmings. Steak is steak and this was not special. No flavor, not aged. Maybe not prime. Ask for certification. Point 3: The service was so so and the waiter was not very knowlegeable about the different cuts of meat and had little reference for the wine. At this price, everyone should be on top of their game. Finally, PLASTIC DEER ANTLER chandeliers are bogus. Maybe big D folks think Austinites will settle for less. Don't waste your money.
Pros: Wal-Mart atmostphere, Money for Nothing, Dirty Door
Cons: Wal-Mart atmostphere, Money for Nothing, Dirty Door
