Do not go to this practice if you are looking for an office that cares about the health and well-being of your child. We needed to cancel a filling for our 3 year old because he had severe congestion from allergies and a cold and chronic nosebleeds that will require cauterization from an ENT. The case notes from our pediatrician were not enough. They wanted to either charge us $400 for not canceling within 5 days or make us still bring him in first thing the next morning to have the dentist assess this. Having had our child sedated before for MRIs and having one canceled by Duke Hospital for congestion, we know the high risks for sedation of such a small child. This office did not care if they had a parent this upset about the possibility of their child being sedated with such terrible congestion. The staff was incredibly rude during this process and would not put the dentist on the phone for us to discuss this with. I've never dealt with supposed child focused professionals who had this much disregard for a child's health and well-being or a parent's obvious distress.
