I needed a tire repaired for my son's mountain bike. The owner took a look at it, put it on a rack, gave it a spin to see if it could be repaired, and to no surprise, it was beyond repair. I asked if he could order a new one and he said he may have one in the shop. He found another one comparable in size and said he could take the disk brake off the old one and put it on the replacement one. Once he started replacing the ""guts"" of the wheel, he noticed that a bolt had been stripped. He found another one in the shop and the price of repair remained the same, even though he had to find another means of removing the bolt, and he threw in the bolt. As for the wheel itself, he could have easily tried to repair it (and that would have been foolish since it was beyond repair), or he could have sold me a new one (which would have been expensive). He was very friendly, engaging, knowlegeable, and helpful. The whole experience was very positive, and if I need to go back again for additional service or repairs, I'll go back again for sure.
