Review content:
I have had pets my whole life, and Dr. Good is by far the best vet I have ever met.
When I first moved to SLC, I didn't know where to take my dog. I ended up taking him to a vet that was open on a sunday when my dog had fallen ill. This other vet clinic made me wait so long, not in the waiting room but in the exam room, they charged an atrocious amount of money for the simplest of procedures. After a bill of OVER $700 for treatment of gastroenteritis and dehydration and a quote of $700 for a simple teeth cleaning procedure, I decided to look elsewhere.
A friend had recommended Dr. Good at Alcor Cresta. Immediately I noticed a difference. Dr. Good was prompt in coming into the exam room, he was on the floor cooing and petting my dog. He even asked if my dog had any nicknames, so he would feel more comfortable. The dental cleaning was only $150! Dr. Good even recommended a way to keep my dogs teeth clean so i would never have to take him in for a cleaning again. Today my dog went in for a possible infection in his urethra, and Dr. Good took tests and found it was nothing, i was only charged for the office visit, not for the tests. I know if it was the other vet, I would have been charged probably double.
It is clear to me that Dr. Good is in it for the animals, not the money, as most vets these days seem to be. He puts the welfare of the animals first. I wish there were more stars, I would give him a 10!
