I went to Vegas in April of 2006 and went here for the first time. I thought it was great and I was really looking forward to coming back. Oh, how things can change...\r \r With a group of eight people, we all waited through the line for about 10 minutes, paid, and then waited for 20 minutes before a table was ready for us. For such a large group, this was unacceptable considering the cost of the buffet.\r \r While the service we received at our table was good, the food just wasn't as good as I remembered. Just about the only decent thing I had was the prime rib. Wait a second, I thought this was a seafood buffet, right? One thing I like to remember is that good, fresh, fish shouldn't taste or smell ""fishy"". I'd already had flaky and delicious halibut earlier in the day and the halibut at Village was sub-par. I found that the deep fried seafood (of the breaded variety) was pretty good, but I find that harder to screw up.\r \r My girlfriend and I had the option to join the group for a second trip to the buffet later in our trip. We didn't end up going. Her experience with the sushi there was not pleasant. I remember hearing her say she nearly got sick after tasting it. Not good, folks. Pros: Quick with drink refills, desserts were alright Cons: The fish tasted fishy
