Review content:
A Nashville Carpet manager measured room to be changed from carpet to pre-finished hardwood. He estimated nine boxes of "Gunstock" and one box of "Natural" for the border. A box of quarter rounds was also ordered to complete the trim. All of the wood was delivered on a Friday to acclimate to the house environment over the weekend. The installer contracted by Nashville Carpet did a beautiful job, but did not have enough wood to finish the job. Another box of wood was ordered and was delivered on Thursday of the week installation began on Monday. It had to acclimate; thus, delay over the weekend was required. The Manager of Nashville carpet charged my Visa for the extra box of wood. After I e-mailed him questioning this charge, he agreed to remove the charge for the extra box. Along with the request to provide a review (this one as it turns out), I received a bill that showed only the original charges made, excluding the additional box of wood that was required to finish the job. It's as if that tenth box of wood never existed; and now I wonder whether the information that I registered for the warranty will be valid, since it shows one less box of wood than was actually used. RESPONSE FROM Nashville Carpet Center: We wish thatthis customer had called us with his question. He would have found that he was completely backed by our policy of on-going customer service. If he has a warranty claim we will be happy to provide proof that the 10th box of flooring was indeed bought on his behalf by Nashville Carpet Center and that it was used on this installation. We are happy to help our customers through any warranty hassles.
