Review content:
I live by this restaurant and I see all the crowds and full parking lot on weekends, so I wanted to try it. The service was great but the food was okay, my husband and I expected more. We went to dinner on a Sunday night and it was pretty empty. The crowd is usually older so they are seen early in the day and afternoon, we went at 8pm. The food tasted like food from Norm's, I expected more of a homestyle taste. I What bothered me was my surprise baked potato - surprise because it was missing a lot of the potato. I had ordered a the potato leak soup which was delicious because not many places offer it and I had ordered a baked potato as my side, when I put my spoon in th potato the butter, chives, and sour cream sunk into the potato. As I was checking out my potato, I noticed the big gap in the potato! I figured the cook used some of my potato to make the soup? No the items did not melt into the potato, they were covering the gap. I know potatoes are cut and opened to fill it, but this one had nothing in the middle. I asked the waiter if that was how my potato was suppose to be, and he said yes? I figured the kitchen must have ran out but they should have least said something. Pros: friendly service Cons: the food was not the greatest
