Review content:
So I had a consultation w/Dr. Law & have to say I was quite impressed. He reminded me of my previous surgeon on the west coast. Dr. Law understood exactly what I wanted & had some very good suggestions. I also felt very comfortable w/him & confident he would do a great job. I was anxious to get my quote so I could proceed w/booking the surgery. I figured since I had been through the procedure before I could estimate how much it would be. Boy was I off. The 1st quote I received was so high I was floored. But when I called back I did find out it was a misquote & they were redoing it. Well based on that quote I could figure how much it was per hour (lipo is charged per how long it takes) so I thought I knew what the revision would be. To my surprise, it wasn't much better, in fact only $1800 less when by the looks of the calculations (of time and such) it should've gone down $2760. If it had gone down that amount it was still about $500 more than I wanted to spend but I definitely would have done it. Its just hard for me to justify spending the amount they are asking; for that price I could fly back to my old surgeon (who is one of the best in that area and very well known). I was just hoping to stay local. Now I do realize my old surgeon did give me a good deal bc I referred him 2 or 3 people but I am still having a hard time swallowing this. I guess, all in all, I am just a bit bummed that they were unwilling to work with me and meet me somewhere in the middle (I know if they wanted they could've). So, I am meeting w/another well known surgeon in Raleigh, but I was hoping I could stop my search w/Dr. Law. I am curious to find out his prices (I hear they are fair from citysearch reviews). Maybe Raleigh in general is just more expensive. So anyways I would recommend Dr. Law as a doctor, he is obviously well qualified, but I am unsure of their pricing & flexibilty on this. I guess we'll see what happens and who I choose...
Pros: Very qualified, great atmosphere, nice staff
Cons: Pricing and willingness to work with customer on this
