Review content:
Be warned. Post op visits are VERY expensive. I had a septoplasty and other repairs done to my nose that were blocking off my sinus. I had two surgeries three weeks apart at day surgery and each required several visits for follow up on healing, four of which were to remove packing (so I was told when told to make another appt). The day before each follow up, I would find out I was scheduled for an endoscopy (an in office surgical procedure) and even with insurance, I was required to pay $78.00 BEFORE my appt or the appt would be cancelled. The first visit after each surgery qualified as a post op visit, but no others. My insurance company was billed for 5 endoscopies. THe last one really upset me as I had to have the last of the packing removed and the dr had told us in recovery that both visits for the removal of packing would be post op and there would be no charge. We complained but there was no discussion on this allowed. Pay up in advance or find another dr to remove the packing. Though I needed other ENT issues taken care of, I paid up, had the packing removed and found another ENT. Dr. Tamez did send me an letter of apology later for how his office staff handled everything.
Pros: Dr Tamez himself is personable and qualified.
Cons: Post op care is VERY expensive.
