Review content:
I write this right after having been hung up on by ""Raquel"" at the Loving Hands Animal Clinic. I have been waiting 17 days for a call from JoAnne Roesner, a DVM, with results of a parathyroid (blood?) test that was taken on 1-9-10. This is the second test on my 15.5 y/o beagle, whom I am advised is in the early stages of renal failure. I have tried, unsuccessfully, to have someone at the clinic tell me why a parathyroid test was run on a dog with kidney failure (and for which I paid $130.) I waited 17 days for the results of the test and a return call from Dr. Roesner. I was told each time I called that she would call me when she was available. There are 4 DVMs at the clinic, surely one of them could have returned my call and discussed my dog's condition, test results, recommended treatment plan, costs, expected results, etc. Finally, I became upset when ""Raquel"" could not get full, complete answers from Dr. Roesner and Dr. Roesner would not call me and speak wtih me herself. I hate to think, but believe it so, that a phone call doesn't generate an office fee, and therefore, there simply isn't time for such an activity. I question Loving Hands overhead, given the very fine building they built for themselves. I have to question if they put profit over care. They once charged me $800 for vaccinations and simple check ups on two of my dogs. I will be returning to another vet clinic, unfortunately it is quite a distance away, which makes it difficult, but that clinic (Greater Atlanta Veterinary Clinic) has provided very good care to other pets I've had. Shame on you, Loving Hands Pros: Very attractive clinic building Cons: Not Client Focused/Very Expensive
