Review content:
We have had two older labs from rescue organizations that we had to care for in their last years. In both cases Dr. Tom worked with us to be realistic and compassionate when making final decisions about these elderly dogs. When I explained I could not afford to hospitalize one dog - he taught me how to do at home what they would be doing there allowing me to afford several more days of care that allowed me to be sure there was nothing else we could do before saying good bye to my dear dog. They were wonderful and patient as we said our last words, giving us the time we needed to let go and were so sympathetic and kind.
