Review content:
This is my emergency vet, and I've appreciated that they have spent a good amount of time with me on the phone determining if I need to bring my dog in or not. Now, every clinic should do this but they don't all!
We've been in once for an emergency, and I have to admit I wished they'd been more caring. I understand 'triage' - I used to be a vet tech. But my 140 lb dog couldn't walk and I sat out in the waiting room sobbing for over 3 hours. They did eventually take my dog into the back to wait, but I would have preferred they find us both a sitting room to wait in.
I did appreciate the vet being open to my concerns. I use holistic care so I am more used to sensitive treatment and using less toxic medications. So the vet at Alpine was very good about finding a medication for my dog we were both comfortable with.
I wouldn't want to go here for all my appointments but so far its alright in an emergency.
