Review content:
My dachshund was involved in a serious accident while we were traveling in Kansas City. I did not know any vets in the KC area but as far as I am concerned a miracle occured when I found Dr. McHugh at Lionsgate Pet Hospital.
She had two fractured pelvis's and was in a lot of pain. Moving her without hurting her was nearly impossible. When I arrived at Lionsgate the very professional staff there came out to my truck and moved her inside without hurting her at all.
While I was out in the waiting room several of the customers told me that I had brought her to the right place and that Dr.McHugh is the best vet they know.
After showing me the X-rays Dr. McHugh told me I needed to get her to a vet that specializes in orthopedic surgery. She recommended MU's School of Veterinary Medicine.
The next day I took my Doxie there and they confirmed Dr.Mc Hugh's diagnosis, did surgery, and she is home donig well now.
I live 3 hours away from Kansas City. The chances of me going back to Lionsgate are slim but still Dr. Mc Hugh has called me twice to check on my dog. The accident happened 4 weeks ago. I am very impressed with her and I wish i lived close enough to take all my critters there on a full time basis.
