Most restaurants in this area are not that great with seafood. But the Pilot House has probably the best crabcakes I have eaten outside of the eastern shores of Maryland. We stopped here back in Oct 2007 on our way to Myrtle Beach SC. I'm happy we did, for years I have always wanted to eat here but never did. Now I have another delightful place to go in Wilmington. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food they serve. We had excellent service and food - this is a 'I'm definately going to return" type of place.
