One of the worst vet experiences!!!! Bar none!! I took my companion animal of 20 years to them when she had a violent episode of pain after which she no longer had use of her hind legs. They kept her overnight and I had to pay over $1300 low estimate. Tests showed she probably had malignant tumors some of which appeared on her lower spine but they wanted to do much more expensive testing. They implied this was cancer and said a neurologist had examined her but I never got to see or talk to the so-called neurologist and my final bill never mentioned the neurologist's name although I was charged for this. My pet was not a good surgical risk and she was in so much pain, I decided the only thing to do was have her euthanized. I told them that I was going to pick her up and take her to my regular vet to be euthanized in more familiar surroundings for her. When I got to VCA, I was told I still owed over $100.
